how it started
Two decades ago while checking my email at work, a friend sent me a link to a blog. I was hooked. But besides celebrities, I realized that everyday Black women like me weren't being represented (or celebrated) online.
After years of wishing for someone to start the blog I wish existed, I started one and nervously hit ‘publish’ on my first post. And then another one. And another one after that. 2 blogs, a podcast, a bestselling book, and over 300k+ followers later, I’m glad I did.
