Play Clothes with Jumping Beans

 Motherhood

Maizah is quite the busy bee nowadays. She’s always running around getting herself into something – whether it’s the slide at the park, building blocks in her room or jumping off the ottoman in the living room (yes, she’ll pretty much jump off of anything). So while dressing her up is fun when an occasion calls for it, I try to focus on play clothes for her for everyday and for her active personality.

When Kohl’s invited us to put together some look from their Jumping Beans line, I was ecstatic because they have everyday staples perfect for Maizah. They’re easy to mix and match and low fuss which is pretty much the motto of a two year old’s wardrobe. She’s in full blown “I love Minnie Mouse” mode, so when we saw this shirt, it was a no brainer. I believe “I want it, I want it,” were her exact words. The thing I love about this shirt – Minnie aside – is how lightweight it is. So for the cooler months, it will layer great with a little jacket or cardigan. But as it gets warmer (it’s 74 degrees here today even though it’s February) she’ll be comfortable and cool. How cute are these leggings with “love you” all over them? They fit great – not too baggy or too tight – and can be work with stockings or tights on cooler days.

My favorite thing about Jumping Beans is their denim. For infants and toddlers, it seems like denim can be pretty one dimensional. Jumping Beans got it right for them by giving a variety – from bootcut, skinny or straight leg and an array of washes, you can find the right denim for your kid. We opted for a medium wash, skinny pair which were cute. Maizah is two and wears a 2T which was slightly big for her – which I prefer. She can wear this well into the summer as she continues to grow. We decided to pair the jeans with a statement tee – “Oh Happy Day” – which could literally be babygirl’s them song. She finds joy in the littlest of things which makes me love her so much. She couldn’t get enough of her purple balloon while taking these pictures. It was quite an adventure.

Here are some other Jumping Beans pieces we’re loving from Kohl’s:

TWO // Jumping Beans Foil Heart Capri Jeggings
THREE // Jumping Beans Princess Seam Patterned Skater Dress
FOUR // Jumping Beans High-Low Textured Stripe Swing Tunic
FIVE // Jumping Beans Skinny Fit Jennings
SIX // Jumping Beans Glitter Pattern Roll Cuff Tee

Helping people excites me.

And no, nothing here on this site is rocket science. Just glimpses of my everyday life - what I eat, what I wear, the products I use, how I work and how I take care of myself. If that’s your sort of thing - you know, life - then this is totally the place for you.

Hey girl, hey!
