How To Avoid Dry Hair This Winter

This post is sponsored by Pantene. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Thanks for supporting the brands that support me.

When the months get colder, my hair gets drier. I tend to keep it in a protective style and wear a textured wig, so I can maintain the moisture of my natural hair (and it grows faster in a protective style, too!)

But here’s the thing – if you choose to wear a human hair protective style like I have – that hair gets dry, too. And I’ll be the first to admit that I can get comfortable with a protective style, but you have to take care of that hair as well. I like textured looks like the one I’m currently wearing and when it gets dry, it can become a big frizz ball. Moisture is a necessity.

I’ve really been enjoying the new Pantene Pro-V Intense Rescue Shots. It’s their new treatment that helps repair damaged hair and transforms dry hair. The single dose-tube contains a deeply absorbing blend of Pro-Vitamin B5, strengthening lipids and natural glycerin that targets the damaged areas to give hair the flexibility and resilience it needs to endure styling and environmental stresses.

You use it right after shampooing – right now, I’ve been loving their Pantene Gold Series Shampoo.

You just put the Intense Rescue Shots in your hair right after shampooing and then rinse it out thoroughly. It leaves your hair so moisturized with that Pantene look. The Pantene Pro-V Intense Rescue Shots provide deep-conditioning but rinses quickly to avoid weighed-down hair.

It really made the curls of my wig pop and added moisture with little frizzing.

The Pantene Pro-V Intense Rescue Shots are so easy to use even when you don’t want to deal with the fuss of doing a hair treatment. It’s my secret weapon for my hair this season.

The Intense Rescue Shots are available for purchase at CVS.com – see here!

Helping people excites me.

And no, nothing here on this site is rocket science. Just glimpses of my everyday life - what I eat, what I wear, the products I use, how I work and how I take care of myself. If that’s your sort of thing - you know, life - then this is totally the place for you.
